I'm new to this module. It would be great to use it, but I am not able to find information on how to use it in combination with imagecache. Let me lay out my usecase. I want to build a slideshow that has only a limited width. So I need to apply transformations to the images before they are ready for showtime. I created an imagecache preset that gets them to just the right size, and I'd like to be able to use that on them before they are used in the slideshow.

Not finding any instructions, I have tried to do it on my own in the following way--and please don't hesitate to share with me your own way of doing it, and point out why this method is not working!

1) Create a new content type and call it "Slideshow Image"
2) Give both the node and teaser an images preset--which is a very dumb preset, nothing like imagecache!
3) Create a view, choose display style as Slideshow and configure filters to Node: Type = Slideshow Image
4) Set slideshow mode to "Thumbnail hover"

So far so good, right? But when I preview the slideshow, there are no thumbnals. There is only a single, rotating image. I don't know if I made a mistake in creating the content type or something else is happening here.

Need some help!

In the View you defined, select the field containing your image from the "Fields" section, look toward the bottom of the configuration options and there should be a select list named "Format". Look in that list and any imagecache presets you have already defined should be shown.
