This is strange because a few weeks ago I didn't have this problem. Previously I could edit a node and it would give me options to send now, don't send etc etc and the input said save and send. I could do save and send numerous times, great. I just created a node now (first time in a week or so) and now the options have gone, says already sent and checkbox is greyed out unselectable. The input now says save only, no save and send.

Am not sure what I've done in the mean time. Thought I'd ask first before digging stuff up.

This is crazy, I have some older publications which I can edit and the options to send now, don't send etc etc are there no matter how many times I send the newsletter. Created a new publication of same type and the options disappear after newsletter is sent once, replaced by Already sent when I edit! I've gone through all the options and none allow me to change this. What would cause it, how can I control it?

Well I just uninstalled it completely and reinstalled and now I can send newletter after editing a node. It is a bit strange that newsletters can be sent twice after a node is created so the Already sent state is probably correct but I don't know what I did to get it to that state. Right now I can edit and send a newsletter for the same node as many times as I like.

Actually I noticed that Sent issues is now empty now matter how many times I send node whereas before it was saying my newsletter was sent which explain why it wouldn't let me send it again. Perhaps already sent only appears for newly created newsletters. Use the default subscription and newsletter can be sent numerous times.

This looks like a database problem. The table simplenews_newsletters holds the sent status of individual newsletter issues (nodes).

I believe this is still an issue. I cannot decifer when it will and will not show "This newsletter has been sent"

I too have created/edited/sent multiple newsletters before. I don't know why I can do it on some and not others.

I have had to manually change the s_status in the database to send again.
