Thanks for a very useful module. I'm looking forward to the future feature implementations.

A problem I'm having:
If I configure two text fields, one to control the other, with:
the controlling field a text type using a check-box ("Number of values:" >1)
And
the controlled field using a text type and check-box/radio widget ("Number of values:" doesn't seem to matter, 1 or >1)

Then,
any item in the controlling field "allowed values list" can be used to hide/reveal the controlled field in the Edit mode
But,
only the last item in the controlling field "allowed values list" will hide/reveal the controlled field in the node View mode.

I couldn't find any existing issues on this, thanks for any assistance.

This was affecting all controlling fields with more than one value. Fixed in dev. Thanks.

What is the status of dev re: becoming a beta release?
Is dev stable?

Yes: betas are tagged directly from 6.x-1.x-dev, so the most recent dev should be more stable (unless regressions are introduced of course :)
