I know that technically issue followups are not comments on the original issue, but still it would be good to see them as so in the tracker (recent posts in the menu). Currently the tracker provides no real overview on what content was added to the issue...

[from [drupal-devel] Re: [drupal:kjartan] /modules tracker.module]

nice. however, repeating the issue title for every comment / "follow up" looks quite strange and redundant to me:

Issue Fixed invalid taxonomy query * Kjartan 22/02/2004 - 12:20
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Anonymous *
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Dries *
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Chris Johnson *
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Dries *
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Kjartan
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by killes@xxxxxxxxxxxx
          * Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Kjartan

wouldn't it be better to either

a) allow comment / "follow up" titles and use those in the tracker display

or, if you think this is more confusing (issue vs. comment title ) than helpful

b) make it more clear that the "* Fixed invalid taxonomy" is a comment / "follow up" by not repeating the title but using "follow up" (or similar) or "Re: <title>":

Issue Fixed invalid taxonomy query * Kjartan 22/02/2004 - 12:20
          * follow up by Dries *
          * follow up by Kjartan
          * follow up by killes@xxxxxxxxxxxx
          * ...
Issue Fixed invalid taxonomy query * Kjartan 22/02/2004 - 12:20
          * Re: Fixed invalid taxonomy query by Anonymous *
