The Modules project page for 4.7.x displays several very old and nonexistent modules.
http://drupal.org/project/Modules/4.7
For example:
"Locale
This module has been comitted to core. It will be included in the Drupal 4.5 release."

cog.rusty commentedTo follow with the same example, the Locale module's info page says:
"Download latest release (4.7.0, 21/02/2006 - 03:32)"
On the other hand, some real modules have a wrong date. TAC's "latest release" is dated 28/12/2005, which is not correct.

killes@www.drop.org commented*sigh*
Can somebody have a look at the list of modules and tell me hich need to be removed?
cog.rusty commentedIs it safe to assume that the ones in the DRUPAL-4-7 cvs branch are exactly the ones which should be in the project page?
killes@www.drop.org commentedYes. I have no idea hoe the others ended up there.
cog.rusty commentedThis is what I found (although this task could be performed much more reliably by a machine).
These are listed in Modules/4.7
These are not listed in Modules/4.7 but exist in DRUPAL-4-7 branch (are they tagged 'unpublished' or something?).
Please double-check because the project names are often different in cvs and drupal projects.

dreed47 commentedThe Administration module has a 4.7 branch tag but is not getting built for 4.7. I think it's related to issue http://drupal.org/node/47158

killes@www.drop.org commentedI have unpublished a number of modules that didn't have a 4.7 branch.
there are indeed a number of modules that do have a 4.7 branch but don't show up on the listing. No idea why.

dwwthis can't possibly be a problem anymore b/c of the new release system. if anything's broken, let's see a new issue about it. ;)
cog.rusty commentedBut you do see why I was going to the CVS and didn't trust the release system back then ;)
