Can we use fivestar to mimic the behaviour of vote_up_down and plus1

Hi, I have this idea that if we produce enough star set styles we can use fivestar for all kinds of voting - I mean since voting consistss of just providing a single value - our vote, our assesment - it does not matter if this value is from 1 to 5 or from -1 to 1....

Valid voting numbers are:
- 1..5
- -1, 1 (without 0 if needed) (equivalent to 1,2)
- -10..10

So instead of using stars we can design the widget style with a different star for each value (like thumbs up and thumbs down)

Even if the feature with different stars for each value is not present now - I am using fivestar in the moment in one of my sites to do 2-valued voting....

I just want to have 1 module for voting.

What about multiple fivestar voting criteria on single node? Like "5 for creativity", "-5 for proffesionalism" ... This would be called multidimensional voting I guess...
