album per node

Description
Is there a way to create album per node? Also is there a way to make a node reference to a photo? I cant find a node type photo!
I am working on a site which everything is about events so i need to have an event album + the users to be able to upload photos at each event seperately not only in their album.
Any suggestions are welcome.
