Blocks using 'Show on only the listed pages' no longer display on pages

I have some blocks with defined pages to be displayed on. Since installing this module they are no longer showing up.

example:
x......Show on only the listed pages
category_middle_school

So now being that the page 'category_middle_school' has become 'en/category_middle_school' the block isn't being displayed...

I tried changing it so it was like this:
en/category_middle_school
fr/category_middle_school

which only half worked... some of the blocks are being displayed and some aren't... The site I'm working with is made up of probably 200 blocks being reused all over the site so this is a huge issue for me.

Is this just the way the module has been implimented or is this a unique issue to my site?
