Description
I tried to make a copy, the copy succeed okay, only all the children of the original menu, lost their connection with their parents.
Site Configuration, Site building both showed blank pages, until I repaired them.

You didn't ignore the big bold text on the main project page, did you? The bit that says "back up your database?"
#2
The backing up is not the real issue, it did something it wasn't meant to do, that is change existing data, rather than make a copy of it and link those copies separately from the originals.
In such a state it is hardly an alpha.

I won't challenge that assertion in the slightest - though I must note this is the first I've heard of the original menu being damaged. I'm just emphasizing the fact that I'm practically begging people to back up their database before using this module. Had you had done so, you wouldn't have had to repair your menu; you could have just restored from the back-up and been back in business immediately.

It wasn't a bad experience as such, it led me to learn much more about the menu system, an area which I was lacking in, LOL.
