The "Choose latest version" option should choose the latest version with "Recommended for 6.x" status. In many cases it chooses the latest -dev version. As of this writing PM 6.x-1.9 automatically chooses Views 6.x-3.x-dev

Yes, I agree. I had to disable the "Choose latest version" option because it kept choosing -dev versions which weren't really ready for prime time.

Hi, i run in the same problem!

changing the string to:

'load dev Version'

should be an easy task.
