New warning on 'now' filter [#555868]

After running updates, I now have an error when filtering my Upcoming block:

warning: date_create() [function.date-create]: Failed to parse time string ('now') at position 0 ('): Unexpected character in /var/www/vhosts/***/httpdocs/sites/all/modules/date/includes/date_api_filter_handler.inc on line 317.

The filter does seem to actually work - I am unsure how or if I need to troubleshoot this.

I am running the most recent dev versions of Calendar and Date as directed.

I have had the same issue described here.

The problem seems to be that "views" module generates a default 'now' value for time ranges in CCK date fields (maybe in any date fields?)

Getting rid of both ' and leaving only now as value solves the problem.

Please note that this problem can affect more than 1 view at a time!
