Dries and Karlijn were married in a beautiful ceremony this morning in Berchem, Belgium at approximately 10:30AM.

Congratulations on the wedding!

Having lived in San Jose, Costa Rica, I can attest to the beauty of its naturaleza and the importance of protecting it. A great place to go for a first or second honeymoon.

This private reserve is near the San Carlos River? I've only been to Tortuguero in that area, but I've been to most of the rest of the tiny country and seen lots of amazing trees, animals, people and beaches. I hope to go back soon, maybe on a cross-Centroamerica bike tour.

Just to clarify, zaghrouta is the Egyptian name for "ululation", which is a commonly heard sound in weddings.

And to be a purist, it should be زغرودة (zaghrouda with a D) in classical Arabic, although pronounced with a T in colloquial Egyptian.

I was referring to chx's saying "same speed as drupal.org" and took it a bit further where the usual cycle of 2 Drupal releases per year, which has been broken by 4.7 now (a whole year).

Oh, and I used to lived in places where polygamy is legal! Some men actually choose to drive themselves crazy!

Λίγα λόγια μιας και η Ντρούπαλ (Drupal) κοινότητα τα έχει πει ήδη. Τις θερμότερες ευχές μου στο νέο ζευγάρι.

Δρίες (Dries), στην χώρα μου την Ελλάδα ο λαός λέει να "ζήσετε και να ευτυχίσετε" τώρα που έχετε ο ένας τον άλλο! Την τελευταία μέρα την περνάει ο γαμπρός με τα φιλαράκια και το πρωί πριν το γάμο ο πατέρας (μερικές φορές και η μητέρα) τον ξυρίζει. Τι συμβολίζει ακριβώς δεν ξέρω γιατί δεν είμαι ακριβώς λάτρης της παραδοσιακής Ελληνικής κληρονομιάς. Νομίζω ότι είναι μία προετοιμασία για τα όμορφα αλλά και άσχημα χρόνια που θα ακολουθήσουν. Πραγματικά εύχομαι ότι καλύτερο και λιγότερο επώδυνο για σένα.

Καρλήν (Karlijn) στην πατρίδα μου όταν ο παπάς στην εκκλησία λέει το κλασσικό "και η γυνή να φοβήται τον άνδρα", οι νύφες συνήθως πατάνε στο πόδι του γαμπρού για να του κόψουν τη φόρα. Επείσης την μέρα του γάμου η νύφη είναι με την οικογένειά της και ο πατέρας της την πάει στην εκκλησία μέχρι να συναντήσει τον γαμπρό. Συνήθως ο γαμπρός είναι αυτός που περιμένει λίγο παραπάνω... Ίσως για να μην έχει υπερβολικές απαιτήσεις.

Πραγματικά μου έφτιαξε το μίζερο κέφι που είχα, προσπαθώντας να βρώ πώς το "καλάθι αγορών" Θα δουλέψει στον σέρβερ μου! Πίνω στην υγειά σας!
