Here is a patch that tries to establish better integration with the OG module. It depends on this patch: http://drupal.org/node/18317
The patch needs testing.

gerhard killesreiter commentedDue to changes on the other issue, this patch is now not even needed. I am leaving this open to discuss further casetracker specific OG integration issues.

moshe weitzman commentedAssigning to self. Once taxonomy is removed from the project => issue relationships, I will add the og integration.

DaveNotik commentedHi Moshe:
We've diverted the resources on this project to another project as it underwent an intense push the past week. We'll be back at it Monday and I'm excited to continue forward in really solidifying this module and seeing it successfully in action on the groups.drupal.org site. Thanks for hanging in there while there's been a lull on our end.

DaveNotik commentedMoshe, do you still intend to add the OG integration? I think we had removed taxonomy from the project/issue relationship. Hmm... Gerhard, can you confirm?
moshe weitzman commentedI don't intend to work on this. Sorry.
Yes, I do think we have removed the taxonomy integration.
DaveNotik commentedAll good. Have you abandoned your desire to use it for groups.drupal?
I'll be pushing to get it playing better with OG, and will report back. Hopefully some others are interested in seeing this happen too.
killes@www.drop.org commentedI think there is quite a good integration. You can use either groups as projects or projects as groups since both modules don't have a mandatory node typ anymore. I think we can close this.
moshe weitzman commentedthe remaining integration is for users (assigned to) and possibly some group specific views/blocks.

drurian commentedThere's still this issue that has to be fixed.

ron collins commentedi'm wondering if cases/projects should be showing up on a group's home page. i don't currently see them there. do other people see that? i've hacked castracker some so i may have made a mistake in there somewhere. it would be good to know what the expected behaviour is so i know where to start looking.
i'm using cck node types for projects and cases.
thanks.

morbus iffYes, nodes assigned to a group should show up on that group's homepage. That's a function of OG, however, and isn't anything that futzing around with Case Tracker would break. Anyways, closing this issue - it's original intent is now irrelevant.

ron collins commentedthanks for the clarification. it made it clear that we needed an og core update. everything is fine now.
