Hello, there seems to be a bug where the add to any module only shows up at text at the top of the page when using IE.

Any idea how this could be fixed?

hi, i can confirm this. it works nicely in firefox and safari, but in IE 7 and 8 it prevented the entire site from loading any CSS file. after disabling addtoany everything was fine again. a fix would be very much appreciated!

Hi,

Ok a bit of extra info. as requested, I am using the latest Drupal version, and AdaptiveTheme 1.4, and quite a few other modules, over the weekend I have been playing around just to see what happens.

Tested OK in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Also tested in IE8 using the 'developer tools' which allows 3 viewing styles, IE8, IE8 compatability and IE7 modes and 3 coding standards IE8, IE7 and 'Quirks mode', no idea what the last one is.

The results were basically the same for all combinations of view and code standard that are allowed. The button is visible (some combinations resulted in the button being diaplaced a long way down the screen) but the popup isn't displayed instead there is an area at the top of the page, above everything else which opens. The links and text field are displayed without any obvious formatting, see attached file.

I did see some modifications to other parts of my layout, some hidden items became visible, centered items were now left aligned and some blocks got smaller, again this was only seen using IE. I checked and there are no obvious connection between the areas where the changes took place e.g. same class or id names.

One last thing, I did try disabeling your module and getting the code direct from the AddToAny website and pasting it into a block, the results were the same as when I used your module, to my mind this indicates it might be their code not yours but having said that on their site everything worked fine in all browsers.

Good luck and thanks.

Me again,

Having had my site go down hill fast over the last few days and getting nowhere I found a solution, at least a solution for me.

It is was caused because IE can only handle 30 css files at a time, on some pages I had under this number and everything was OK others had over 30. Any CSS files above this were ignored. The more I added to the site the worse it got.

There is a solution available, the IE Unlimited CSS Loader module http://drupal.org/project/unlimited_css it worked for me and now all my CSS files are included and Add To Any works exactly as it should in all versions of IE I have available to test it on.

Hope this helps.
