I use views slideshow with thumbnail hover so the user can click on thumb and see Image.

I don't want images changing on their own.

currently I just add a very large number of milliseconds. But recently , this number will be ignored
and slideshow will rapidly cycle through images.

I've the same problem, I've thougt to set a big timer delay value... but it is not a good solution.
