Cropping selector doesn't show up for me

When enabled, in CCK, the cropped picture and the cropping area both appear but the little widget (which looks so cool in the demo) doesn't show up. Basically I have nothing to grab hold of and crop with.

I've probably set something up wrong. I did enable the module and ensure the permissions were properly set. I tested in Chrome, Firefox & IE7 but it behaves the same way. If you have some ideas I can look at or try, I'd appreciate it.
