CCK - Associating Content Types

GreenSpiderDesign - September 6, 2009 - 17:01

Okay - I have a need to have several Content Types associated. For example, a Company (parent type) will have multiple Locations (child type) and multiple Promotions or Events (also child types).

Can someone please point me in the right direction so I can create these associations and easily use those in areas such as Views to show all Locations, Promotions, and Events for any given Company?

Thanks!!

Just a PUSH?

I really just need a push in the right direction - a module name or something. I know many of you Drupalers must require this same level of functionality.

Help!

A Node Reference field is the common method of defining a simple one-way parent/child relationship. Node Reference is part of the standard CCK package, works great with Views, and has some affiliated supporting modules (like Nodereference Explorer and Node Reference URL.)

There are a few modules that provide extended relationships, like Node Relationships, Node Hierarchy, Node Relativity, and Node Location Relationship.

Thank you!
