Sorry if this has been asked before but I don't seem to be able to find the answer

can someone help me theme my email?

at the moment its taking the css from the my theme and outputing the text in the email really small - 9pt

my theme looks just fine and I don't want to mess with it.

which file controls the css for the email? I tried modifying simplemail.css but it was ignored.

Simplenews has no facilities for HTML mail. See Mime Mail or HTML mail module.
