Description

Hello guys, I just created a vocabindex tree view, displaying all the terms in this vocabulary. Whey I click on one of the terms I get redirected to the taxonomy overview page, containing all the nodes that are linked. This behaviour is fine.

Now, I have a few terms that contain childs. If I click on the parent term, the list of childs pops down. This behaviour is also fine. But how can I go to the overview page of the parent term then?

This is not a bug report. Please read the project page or the module's help page before posting issues.

This behaviour is part of the browsable view.

Hallo Xano,

True, you have a point there. Sorry for that. Imagine we have this taxonomy vocabulary:

Voc = my pictures

- partys (0)

- holidays (4) = one node for holidays, 1 node for spain, 2 nodes for switserland

- - spain (1) = one node for spain

- - switserland (2) = 1 node for switserland, one node for mont blanc

- - - mont blanc (1)

Even if I use the Browsable view, this is what happens:

I click on "holidays", and I see : "Spain" and "Switserland" as links, but not the node that's tagged with only "holidays". If I go further to Switserland, I only see "Mont Blanc" as a link. I personally would expect / hope to see the node for holidays and also the node for Switserland (so more than only the structure of the voc.).

My question: is this normal behaviour? Is it so that I can only expect a list of child terms, but not the nodes that are only tagged to the parent - next to that? Ofcourse your module is a "Vocabulary Index", and that is indeed basicly what it does. Anyway, that would be very handy.

Thanks.

This is normal. Vocabulary Index allows you to browse through terms, not through nodes, just as the project page describes.

New features are never added to existing branches. Also, Index will succeed Vocabulary Index and the feature you want is part of that module.
