Just a suggestion, do you consider to let users to put a headline image (like http://drupal.org/node/253088)

btw, if this image is dynamic (i.e. users put several images in a directory and Drupal choose one of them random.)

This idea is from the K2 theme of Wordpress.

This is a possibility, but it will wait until a later release of the theme. I might do something with a transparent PNG / CSS text effects to make it look quite spiffy. Haven't done a lot of PHP-based work on the theme yet.

Decided to not attempt this for the theme. If someone else incorporates the functionality in a patch, I'll consider adding it (or maybe creating a 2.x branch with that feature), but for now, I think I'll leave the theme as-is.
