Chat users aren't informed of archived status

When a moderator/admin/whatever archives a chat, other people in the chat don't get any cue that this has happened. They can continue entering content into the chat (which appears to be added to the content of the archived chat).
I'd suggest an alert in the chat, and a warning message if they try and enter more text.

i've committed a patch to implement this, please update to latest code in the DRUPAL-6--1 branch to test it.
