I've been following the story for a while now. To be honest with you guys, I really doubt there will be a release of Dashboard. Homebox is growing rapidly and is a great alternative to MySite. http://drupal.org/project/homebox

I think the old head release just needed to be edited so that it would work with the new packaging system. Now fixed. Please re-open if it doesn't work.

The old head release did need to be updated to work with the new packing system. Unforunately, it was a bit beyond my knowledge of CVS.

New 2.0 release out that works with the packaging script.
