The current Rules integration includes the "Pending revision has been published event." But to be able to differentiate between the "current revision author" and the "target revision author," we need a "Pending revision is going to be published event."

As defined by crea (see http://drupal.org/node/575880, comment #6), when an event is in "going to" status, data for both the current revision and target revision is still available. So here's a potential use case: If you want to notify the author of the currently published revision that a revision by a different author is now being published instead, you could do so with this new event.

Revisioning is becoming a really great module... many thanks to Rik, crea, and everyone else for all of their hard work!

This issue is over 2 years old and with Revisioning 6.x approaching retirement it is unlikely that much new functionality will be added to the 6.x branch.
