node author show up in email even if turned off in Drupal theme settings

I tested out the email this page link and emailed myself about one of my nodes. I was surprised to see the node author (my Drupal username) listed in the email I received under the link to the node, as follows:

[link with Node title]
by [my username]

I have the "Display post information" unchecked for all node types in my Drupal theme settings, so this information should not be displayed in the forward email. I also see this as a bit of a security issue as I am making posts in my superuser account and I don't want people to know my Drupal login name.

The admin should have more control over what options are displayed in the outgoing emails sent with the forward module.
