CCK allowed values support and a very long value

I recently installed 6.x-1.x-dev to have the new CCK label, description and allowed values translation functionality (#531660: i18n + CCK). It seems to work fine (apart from the need to manually refresh translation strings and to empty the cache after translating, but that's managable) but I think there exists some issue with long strings. From what I see the actual value is used as the translation key, so is there any internal limit on that? Could anyone using this version please confirm that they can successfuly translate this text (being the single allowed value of a Text/Checkbox type CCK field):

I agree for the storage and processing of my personal information included in the above application by Cognitis (in compliance with the Act from year 2002 on the Protection of Personal Information, Dz. U. Nr 101 poz, 926 with changes).

I am trying to translate it into:

Wyrażam zgodę na przechowywanie i przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych zawartych w powyższej aplikacji przez SKND (zgodnie z Ustawą z 2002 roku o Ochronie Danych Osobowych, Dz. U. Nr 101 poz, 926 ze zmianami).

But the translation is not respected (original English text is displayed).
