Issue Summary
Hi
Is there an easy way for my users to insert node gallery images into content such as stories? I used to use the image.module for images and image assist for inserting into content. But there were some problems with this, including the lack of a decent gallery and an upload function. So I though I'd switch to Node Gallery, having gotten the impression that I would be able to use imagefield assist for inserting and uploading pictures.
However, this doesn't appear to be the case, or am I completely mistaken? Or is there some other easy, hazzlefree way for users to upload and insert images? I must admist that IMCE doesn't appear user friendly enough to me :)
It would really annoy me to have to back-pedal to the image.module, but if I can't get image insertion to work with the gallery, I'm afraid it's the latter of two evils :(
Thanks for you input
Nikolaj

I use IMCE with FCKeditor. IMCE allows users to browse their gallery folders and insert images where they want. I even have permissioned users to access their imagecache folders through IMCE, but they don't do it.
I personally copy the html of a pic on the gallery page and insert it in a post. This allows me to use the thumbnail with the lightbox popup. There are very few members on my site that are capable of doing this, though.

@Tally, great tip about grabbing the html! I use Imce and fck too.
There is a handful of file browsers out there, this one might be more 'user easy' for some people. They have a demo to play with. http://drupal.org/project/imagebrowser

change status as this looks to be solved.
** Thank you Tally, I always learn something from your posts.

i guess since this is support request, it should be closed instead of fixed....
