From "INSTALL.TXT":
"You must then enable one ore more node types to be used with the event system. You can do this by going to admin/node/configure/types and selecting..."
I am running drupal 4.6.5 and have no such menu structure when logged in as admin. My navigation structure does not include a "node" section but instead only offers under the "administration" (what I assume is referred to as "admin/" in the quote) section:
access control
blocks
categories
comments
content
input formats
logs
modules
settings
themes
users
help
Nor can I find the page the documentation is referring to in any other page listed above.

This is also true for 4.7

wellsy commentedI don't know Edit Module but.....it's not logical but the url is correct for normal base install
It's easy to miss but you get to it via 'content' which takes you to admin/node then move forward>>>
admin/node/configure/types
Like I said...it's not logical but it does get you there

wellsy commentedOops....That should be "I don't know Event Module"

ijulie commentedthanks so much! indeed, that link -- or more precisely admin/node/configure/types/event -- works. you need to select "All views" under "Show in event calendar" and then save.
someone should edit install.txt with clearer instructions.
