Can mailhander be made to work with cross posting to multiple mailboxes?

Issue Summary

I have multiple mailhandler mailboxes, each signing-in to the same email account. They each pull email from a different folder within that email account. Each folder receives mail from a different mailing list. Occasionally, email is cross posted to multiple mailing lists. When that happens, the email appears in all of the appropriate folders.

It appears that in those cases, mailhandler only retrieves the email from one folder. Is this the expected behavior?

If so, is it possible to change mailhandler to retrieve an email multiple times if that email has been copied to multiple folders?

Or is what I'm observing unexpected behavior?

Thanks!

Please, close the issue if you have fixed it.

Probably that is the imap class considering the email as already 'read'. Not sure how to reproduce it to make a test. This must not be expected behaviour from mailhandler point of view, but if imap is not failing (and by failing I mean, there are already different messages in each folder, and they are not the same), then probably the server considered that the message has been read (unprobably).

Are there any errors in watchdog about duplicated entries or something? I don't know what is failing exactly: the email is not being read more than once, or the node is not being created more than once. Please, provide this answer so we can go ahead with this.
