User Interface ease of use

Hello,

I need to make the date inputs more user friendly, like this: http://www.shocktheplanet.com/postnuke_date.jpg

What I am currently able to achieve using the date module is this: http://www.shocktheplanet.com/drupal_date.jpg

Is there a way to do this? Do I have to figure out how to hack up the module itself?
