I created my site on my PC localhost and created all the pages.

Now, I am ready to have my site live. I have the following questions:

How can I transfer my database which is mySql utilizing php admin?

Should I install drupal through the automated process of my hosting company godaddy.com or install it manually.

I already have everything installed on my localhost. Can I use ftp to transfer the files and directories?

Thank you for your feedback.

aerps,

You can install Drupal through Hosting Connection and move over your files. You can than import your .sql file into the pre-configured database following this help article - http://help.godaddy.com/article/3387. You'll need to update your settings.php file to reflect the settings of your new database at Go Daddy. Here's how you find those settings - http://help.godaddy.com/article/33

You can also take a look at this thread which provides some info on moving from localhost to your Go Daddy hosting - http://drupal.org/node/432142
