Can I still use logintoboggan for Drupal logins when Gigya Socialize is enabled?

Is there an answer to this? I'm running logintoboggan and having a lot of trouble getting Gigya to work correctly. Seeing how LoginToboggan is a major module (13,000 sites using it http://drupal.org/project/usage/logintoboggan) this is a fairly significant question that needs to be addressed.

In 2.0 you can. (This was a major bug in 1.0 in fact - well, not a bug per se, but it was like a bug b/c Gigya's login system completely was overriding the core Drupal one and so many modules' hooks were not getting called.)
