I am new to Drupal and I new to the tech world. I am having trouble editing the links on my site and want to change the Primary Links.

I have 5 primary links. I want to change the path and the name of the link. I choose edit; change the path, link title and the description.

After I click save only the Menu Link Title changes.

The Path & Description remain the same. Is there a simple solution for this?

When I try to add an item to primary links, and click Save nothing gets saved into primary links?

Do I need to activate these somewhere?

Please help.

Thanks,
Bbods

I'm not sure what you want to do, but this is the idea:
In the Menu configuration you have these options (among others):

Path: should be node/[node-number], <front> or http://www.site.com/page.html
Menu Link Title: The anchor text to show.
Parent Item: Should be

There are 2 ways to configure the menu:
1.- From Site Building>Menu
2.- When creating new content, you can fill the Menu Settings section. This is the easiest way if all the links are nodes in your site.

Of course you need to add the Primary Links block to a section. You do this in Blocks.
