Site title link should be to home in current language

It seems that when someone clicks on the site title it should take them to home in their current language, not to home in the default language. I am using language dependent variables to set the site title, slogan, footer, and default front page per language. I have created a page with URL path of "home" in each language. The link doesn't go to the default front page as shown on the form with the language prefix, just home without the language prefix.

Perhaps this is an issue for core or for the theme. If so please move it or let me know where to theme it.
