Release shows up before download is available

On one of my projects (Porter Stemmer, http://drupal.org/project/porterstemmer), I created a new release today (5.x-2.3).

The release showed up on the Project page a couple of minutes ago as the current release.

But the download link, when it first showed up, gave me a 404:

Not Found

The requested URL /files/projects/porterstemmer-6.x-2.3.tar.gz was not found on this server.

Of course, now that I've taken the time to file this issue, the download file is available.

The problem is that the release is showing as the current release, with a broken Download link, before the file is actually available. There seems to be a several-minute lag, even though when you create a new release, there's a short lag before the release shows up as the most current release on the project page. It just isn't waiting long enough. It should wait until the release zip file is generated before displaying a link to that file to download.

I also had this happen with the last release on this project as well, and someone filed an issue on my project:
#593450: Version 2.2 unavailable
So it isn't just me experiencing this.
