Something strange happened which I can't find the reason: when creating a new user, the system redirect to the default page and sends a confirmation with the loggin details. It also does not print a message informing that a mail will be sent with his loggin defaults. It does send any email actually. Basically that means that the user is not aware about next step of implementation.
Any hints?

Bit of a strange one there mate, did you install any new modules or upgrade anything lately, did you change theme at all?
I might try disabling modules (staring with notification or login/sign up type modules) to see if one of them is causing the issue.
Unless someone has encountered this before it could just be a needle/haystack mission to find the problem.
