Hello,

I am not sure where to post to see if this is possible and thought in the thread of the internationalization module would be a good place to start as others with multi-language sites may be looking for the same option.

Is it possible to have the language setting automatically set on registration based on role?
For example: Role A=American and Role B=Fresh
1) When user registers as Role A and signs into website they see English
2) When user registers as Role B and signs into website they see French

I hope someone will be able to direct me in the right path.

I'm afraid this conflicts a little bit with the general usage of roles. However, a module that would assign some properties automatically based on role, like language, timezone or theme would be an interesting one.

Not for this module though.
