http://drupal.org/node/608164#comment-2167288 reads as link spam to me, they seem to be replying solely to market their templates. Any other opinions?

Since I like trends, I'm willing to wait and see what else this user is going to contribute. Right now, he's trending towards just promoting his own project/site.

I'd also take a wait and see attitude for the user, and if more similar posts of his pop up, a nice email should suffice.

For what I can see, both Yes and No and the next comment are suspicious.

As an outsider (read, non-webmaster) I would like to note that so far this appears to be more of an isolated occurance for the user. Looking at their history, they started out creating two free themes for Drupal (which WorldFallz even noted as "nice.") They also have applied for a CVS account (where KiamLaLuno was the last to be working with them).

So, at this time, I don't see a trend towards only promoting their own site. If that was the case, they've had 5 weeks to do so. No need to go to any of the work they've done just to spam us.

Looking at the comments made from anttix, this is the first suspicious comment. I don't see any trend, in his case.
The same is true for tuthanh.

To notice that most of the posts made from tuthanh are about the themes they are actually hosting on their web site because user tuthanh doesn't have a CVS account, yet.
I agree that there is no need for him to make comments just to update people about the development of his theme (especially when people can check the URL he reported), but that is not something to check. If somebody thinks user tuthanh should stop adding those comments, it's enough to sent him a email.
