Is there a way to only have this module apply to nodereference of my choosing.

It re-uses the popups add and reference permission right now and so taking away the "add new" link on a nodereference also takes away the inline reference. I need to set it up as it's own permission though.

It states in the project description:

The module also provides a setting for preventing old nodes from being referenced in a node reference field, forcing a user to create a new node using Popups: Add and Reference

I just want to prevent this for some node references not all of them. How can I do that?
