When you edit an image already inserted the popup editor reverts the image size to 'other' This quite often won't work (when inserting of size 'other' is not allowed), so I've made it work in the attached patch.

Has there been any work on this issue? I'm noticing this same issue, even after trying this patch on Image Assist 6.x-3.x-dev (2010-Jul-11) (w/WYSIWYG 6.x-2.x-dev (2010-Jul-11).)

Perhaps this is a duplicate of #293909: Always adds thumbnail only (unspecified image preset width or height)?

I think this should have been fixed by #669092: display original size instead of preview
