Hi,
am working with the modules for some time now, great work!
Setting up a website which has the complete same menu structure in both languages. Therefore I don't want a separate menu for each language (really don't like that concept at all) but just maintain a single structure which is lot easier with build in views in the structure. So I don't want to work with the build in "menu translation" module which lets me set a language per item, but the good old "manage strings" (e.g. using "Translation table").
So what I want to do is create a page in english, set a menu item, create a german translation (without creating a new menu item), translating the english menu item into english. But the problem I'm having is that then the german page doesn't link to the menu item (means its not active). Tried to tweak the path alias, tried different settings within the "Language negotiation" and "Content selection mode", but nothing works.
Also read through lot of documentation but couldn't find anything. Would really appreciate any help or hints!

oholender commentedI think I have got a similar problem with nodes and translations of them. See: http://drupal.org/node/101844
