There is not a 'description' field in my Web Links create content form.
Yet in the Web Links there is this option....
Link description display: No description, Teaser length, Full length
This sets how the description will be displayed on the main links page.
Where did the field go?
I want to use the Link description display option to display no description on the links page, but I do want to display an expanded description on the Web Links node.

rmiddle commentedThe description field is also know as the body field. We use rename the body field to description but when we moved to 6.x-2.x we reverted back to body when we moved closer to a standard node type.
Thanks
Robert

webservant316 commentedAh...finally figured it out.
I accidently blanked out the 'body field label' while editing the content type.
This will cause the Body or Description field to disappear.
