In some cases, errors may appear.

Image module creates a 3 presets of settings: thumbnail, preview and original. Preview version is created after loading the original. However, if the original size is smaller than specified for the preview, the preview version will not be created.

In this case, the Thickbox tries to find a preview, but can not find. As a result, the Thickbox is not functioning to display images in modal mode.

This has been reported a number of time and if someone sends in a patch with a clean looking solution I would be happy to submit it.

I don't use the image module myself and the support for it in Thickbox has come from other contributors.

Generally I think Imagefield+Imagecache+Views is a mush more flexible and modern solution.
