There are situations where a user is required to change the email message/body before forwarding a page.

2 cases include:

  1. a site member forwards to a specific email address very often, but since the email subject/body message is the same... the email goes to the spam box of the recipient.
  2. a site owner would like to allow members of a certain role (marketing team, affiliates) to edit the email subject/message before sending the email.

Potential improvements for better user experience are also possible like:
* instead of making the user type custom subject/message, maybe he/she can select pre-made subject/message entries.
* user is allowed to customize the forward subject/message for different content types.

Imho, the Forward module is the best email-sending utility out there for Drupal. The performance is awesome, and it has a lot to offer for better user experience.

I may implement this later, but I'm reluctant to do it now due to its potential for spam abuse (and my lack of time at the moment).
