I would like to be able to limit the start and end dates, including month and day, that the user can pick.
For example, in birthday, I don't want the user to pick a date larger than today. A year limit isn't enough.
I'd like to see this feature both on the client side (the js popup won't allow clicks on irrelevant dates) and on the server side (a validation of the input).

Unfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
