Hi,

I'm using the standard glossary template provided by Views. I anticipate glossary content to increase to 4000 nodes in the next two years.

Do you recommend Glossify to be the better option?, or can I get away with standard views?

Glossify currently works on the fly - retrieves and parses everytime ... It uses the drupal cache in some ways... There is no database table for glossify's own cache... Only plans for that.

I've tested the performance with about 500 gl. terms and an article with about 400 plain text html chunks (text into html tags - suitable for link making ...) - all loads very fast on a normal modern root linux server with 4 cores and 4 G RAM...

hello,

I use the glossary that comes with the Views module.

In admin>build>views there is a views template called "Glossary". This is what I use to make all node titles into an index.

Yup! I totally forgot about that one...

I checked - it comes from the views module ... It is not provided by other module...

Can you give a url to a site of yours with that view shown?

My comment on that is the following:

Currently glossify does not provide a view or a page displaying all the terms in a site. It currently is an auto-linker - re-read the main project page for the main idea....

I thought that the all-glossary terms page is a secondary thing that can be built on demand by site owners... The auto-link without spoiling html feature was the more tricky part.... So I attacked it 1st...

MArking this one as fixed. As for your performance question - please ask a smiliar one again after we actually put some code that builds an analog of Views' glossary... Curently there is no such a feature in this module. :))
