Yes, but it wont be for a while yet, still plenty to be done for D7 before we can get serious about building themes for it, I'll probably wait at least until D7 is in release candidate before porting the theme.
Thanks Jeff - I would like to learn more about how one goes about creating semi transparent graduated base header artwork like you have in this theme. Is the psd file available or could you recommend any online photoshop tutorials - thanks
I can update this - Pixture Reloaded for Drupal 7 will be a subtheme for Adaptivetheme, that is for sure. This will give the theme far more layout capability and theme settings and so on. I will begin the Adaptivetheme D7 project in about a week or so.
Well I'm about half way through migrating Adaptivetheme to D7, I hope to have a working version by the end of this week. That said it needs a fairly long period for testing so we're looking no closer than at least a month before AT is ready, then a few weeks to port and test Pixture. I think this will work out about right since D7 won't be ready for production sites before August.
If I can help with anything or just testing - please let me know.
I'm not sure if it has any value- but I adapted picture to have a front page that was different and made of squares but updated when pixture's colours were updated. It is at www.Allonsong.com.
@artatac - very nice! In the D7 version of Pixture Reloaded you will be able to do that out-of-the-box with Adaptivetheme as the new base theme (as long as Skinr is ready for D7 at the same time).
I have started the port to D7, for both Pixture Reloaded and Adaptivetheme - both should be considered in development as we are still waiting on Drupal core patches that will affect what we do in themes (see the project page if you want to download the test the D7 development version). You need to download Adaptivetheme as this is the new base theme for Pixture Reloaded.
I haven't done any testing in anything other than Firefox at this stage, also I am going to completely drop support for IE6.
I'm thinking about adding a theme setting for selecting the site fonts - so you can change these easily - like to hear your thoughts on that.

nancydruI can see where some people might like a font-choosing feature. It doesn't much matter to me as I can do that easily enough.
