i created a case on groups.drupal.org to track something. i got a nice email about it, giving me all the info about my case. however, whenever anyone replies, i get emails where the subject says "Comment on Case Added (Title: enable book nodes to be group-aware Project: groups.drupal.org, Case Id: 100-9)". unfortunately, the body of the message is identical to the original message i was sent:

Case body : the events group would like to create a book to keep track of some work we're doing. we'd like to create the book within our groups.drupal.org group. can we enable book pages to be group-aware?
thanks!

therefore, these emails, which have great potentail, are pretty much useless in their current form. :( they're just a heavyweight ping that someone updated something and i better follow the link to see what they said. this seems like a perfect opportunity to just include the text (and author info, date, etc) of the *comment*, not my original post. not sure if this is a bug, by design, or an oversight, but i'd encourage y'all to change the behavior. sadly, i'm already spread so thin in drupal-land that i won't be providing any patches for this.
thanks,
-derek
