Forget that I updated to RC4 and the issue was resolved.

That was wrong it was RC4 of privatemsg.

Something has gone wrong here. I can't even get a listing using the drop downs in search. Have run cron and update, installed some performance checking modules.

There is some other weird stuff happening. According to the performance reports call the module list is taking 8000ms however when I time it on FF3.5 it took 4min 45sec to release the browser. A little better using Namoroka 1min 15sec.

I've been working though processes involving Flash and Drupal. I've loaded a few modules for that, services and a couple of extras for CCK.

I've removed the plug-in module and reinstalled it.

Got any ideas for me?

OK I can see a response being returned from the server using Firebug.

{ "about_this_node": { "title": "About This Node", "link": "\x3ca href=\"http://drupal.org/project/about_this_node\" target=\"_blank\"\x3eProject Page\x3c/a\x3e", "tag": "Administration" }...........

But it is not being displayed on screen.

Next thing I see after that is this...

reference to undefined property opt.queue
anonymous()jquery.js?D (line 3982)
anonymous(Object name=gotoEnd)jquery.js?D (line 4130)
t(Object name=gotoEnd)jquery.js?D (line 4047)
anonymous()jquery.js?D (line 4057)
[Break on this error] if ( opt.queue !== false )\n

I think you can assume this relates to

http://drupal.org/node/647144

It's certainly connected to one of the developer modules.
