drumnjo commentedActually I have now noticed that the Filter function for Profile Location does not work properly either....when exposed the only option available is 'any'....??
johnhanley commentedIt sounds like either a configuration problem or possible conflict with another module.
I'm going to need more information in order to adequately diagnose the issue. What other profile related modules do you have installed?

leigen commentedI have just tried the Profile Location module and found the same difficulty. The Varable Name appears on the Profile Page View but not the data. The data however, is in the system and properly entered into the data base. If ine goes to the Profile Page and EDITS, then the data show and are corrent as entered.
Even if there is no entry at the registration of a new account, and then the location data is added by edit, the same result occurs. No visiblity in the Profile Page View, but data is visible if one reedits.
I have not confirmed what the previous user observed about Views etc.
Other than this problem, this is a great module. It is easier than the alternatives I have tried and in partiuclar works much faster.
Noting the question you asked about other modules with which there might be a conflcit, I provide the following information on our configuration:
The profile modules I have enabled are: Profile and Advanced Profile Kit
The location modules I have enabled are: Locations and G-Map Locations
These are in addition of course to the Profile Location module
I have attached two screenshots #1 which shows the View with the data missing and #2 which shows the Edit where the data is visiable.
I hope this helps. Contact me if you want any other information of what me to try out a fix.

johnhanley commentedHello, thanks for the detailed report--it helps speed up diagnosing the problem.
Most likely we have an incompatibility issue. One of the other modules is overriding the output of the Profile Location values. Could you do me a favor: disabled (not uninstall) each of the other profile-related modules one at a time and confirm when the profile values display as expected.
Report your findings here. Thanks!
