Hey - I noticed you had ambitious plans for this module but it's now a little out of date. I would like to take a more thorough swing at the code, and was wondering if you would consider me as a co-maintainer.

Just submitted a couple of (rough) patches:

You need a CVS account in order to be a maintainer; I'll be adding you as co-mantainer as soon as you get one.
